| Abstract: | This paper proposes CASE, a new symmetric encryption algorithm using one-dimensional Reversible Cellular Automata (RCA) and Non-autonomous Cellular Automata (NCA). CASE supports 128-bit block size and 128/ 192/ 256-bit keys to meet the AES specification7. Design principle of CASE follows the most desirable properties like confusion and diffusion. The scheme is more attractive for its simple implementation. |
