| Abstract: | In this paper, a 1/15 scale model of concrete filled square steel tubular frame structure with dampers is tested on shaking table to study the dynamic characteristics and seismic response, especially the effect of dampers on seismic behavior of the structure. Test results show that the structure has no obvious weak story, the torsion of the whole structure is small, and the dampers play important role in energy dissipation, but the lateral stiffness of structure is not enough, because the Elasto-Plastic inter-story drift is not meet the code requirement(1/80) for energy dissipation structures. So according to the test results, the structure design is improved to meet the code requirement. | |
