| Abstract: | A modification of the time-domain method for separating incident and reflected waves, LASA, is presented. This modification involves the use of a fully nonlinear wave model for the local approximation. This local wave model is needed to perform the separation of the incident and reflected waves in different water conditions, including shallow water conditions where nonlinear terms are significant. In addition, the calculation time is reduced, given the decrease in the number of parameters of the model to be optimized. This new method is named LASA-FN. |
