| Abstract: | A wave-current interactive modelling system comprising an intra-wave period wave module and a wave period-averaged current module is described and used to investigate the hydrodynamics around a scheme of detached leaky breakwaters. The model results show a reasonable agreement with the results from a physical model test on the Elmer shore-parallel porous breakwater system obtained in the United Kingdom Coastal Research Facility (UKCRF). |
