| Abstract: | The micro-Raman and photoluminescence (PL) spectra of colloidal CdTe nanocrystals deposited on a spherical microcavity are reported. Due to the feedback of the light trapped in the microcavity, a strong enhancement of the Raman signal is obtained. Periodic structure with very narrow peaks in the Raman spectra of a single microsphere was detected both in Stokes and anti-Stokes spectral regions, arising from the coupling between the emission from nanocrystals and spherical cavity modes. | |
