Abstract:The photoluminescence (PL) parameters for the same CdSe/ZnS nanoparticles in aqueous solutions and on the surface of silanated glass are compared. As it is revealed, chemisorption and assembling of nanoparticles in 2D ensembles not only leads to an increase in PL quantum yield, but also prevents PL quenching in a polar environment.
