Abstract:Current methods for synthesizing and studying nanochannel structures based on Al2O3, SiO2 and polymers are discussed in this paper. Processes of self-organization provide the ordered patterns of such nanocapillaries. Potential applications of these nanochannel structures and ordered carbon nanotube arrays grown on them are treated.
