Abstract:CulnSe2xTe2(1-x) nanoparticles of the ten-nanometer size range were fabricated within silicate glass matrices distinguished by alkali components. The type of the glass matrix has an essential effect upon production of the solid solutions with variable x. Optical features of the glasses depend also on Se/Te ratio and do not reproduce the bulk counterparts. These variations are considered as a result of phase transformations, which deviate properties of the particles with a selected composition from the original ones.
