Abstract:Formation of silver alcosols by the destruction of Ag(I) complex (synthesized by us) with 2-[4,6-di(tert-butyl)-2,3-dihydroxyphenylsulfanyl]-acetic acid in alcohols (methanol, ethanol, propanol-2, butanol-1) was studied. Size and assembling of silver nanoparticles in alcosols were examined by means of absorbance spectroscopy, TEM and AFM.
