Abstract:The study of equations in which the deviating argument is a function of the dependent variable, that is, of the unknown solution itself, has received less attention in recent years. We suggest a way such equations may arise in applications by formulating a population dynamics problem with time lag. An a priori estimate of the first integral is also obtained.
