| Abstract: | This study proposed a frequency-domain nonlinear wave transformation model taking account of coupling between incident and reflected waves. The present wave model is easy to solve numerically even for the case where very shallow water area exists like reef bathymetry. The present wave model was applied to the analysis for wave transformations on reefs of laboratory and field experiments. Concerning with significant wave heights and mean water level changes, the wave model was able to estimate the observations reasonably. |
