Abstract:In order to improve the ExEBED wave model (a high-order differential wave model based on an energy balance equation with a diffraction term and an energy dissipation term), the effects of wave transmission and overtopping are incorporated into the ExEBED wave model. The numerical results by the present wave model are compared with the experimental measurements by Pan et al. (1998) to validate the model.
