| Abstract: | Fragmentation measurements are presented for diffractive and non-diffractive deep inelastic ep scattering data in the Breit frame of reference. The average charged multiplicity in the current hemisphere, < n >, is shown to compare well with DIS at low β and with e+e- at high β. The evolution of the peak and width of the current hemisphere fragmentation functions for charged particles is studied as a function of photon virtuality, Q, and is found to agree with results obtained in non-diffractive deep inelastic scattering. |
